With our global interlocking crisis, COVID-19 after effects, the 4th Industrial Revolution and the unfolding transformation of consciousness, we are facing a future that is unpredictable and different from the past. However, architecture school is slow to adapt. This begs the question:

Is architecture school preparing students for a future that doesn’t exist? Are architects becoming obsolete?

For this and many more reasons, I am writing the book that I would have needed and wanted to read at architecture school. It is about Self-Awareness — a quality, soft skill and way of being that I believe is fundamental for a thriving future for all.

This is not your typical architecture book. Born from diverse interests, it is intended as a guide to change and transformation during this age of transition. It is for all those rebellious spirits who sense: there must be more to architecture, and me. For those who feel confused and fearful about the future, those who seek change, and those who don’t yet know they’re ready for it. Together, we’ll embark on a profound journey of self-discovery where we peel off layers of conditioning, deepen our awareness + unlock Y/our potential. Gradually, we’ll not only re-create ourselves — we’ll re-create the role of architecture in shaping our collective future.

What is possible? We will be the answer.

I consider this book to be part of my Life’s work. And because this is a deeply personal journey for me, the release date is not entirely in my hands. I try to make sure every chapter comes from a place of inspired action, not fear and shoulds. Quite an intense un-learning, but this ensures the intention behind my words is ’right’.

I find peace in knowing that this book will be out when its teachings have matured, when I have embodied them more deeply and when the community is ready to receive it. One thing is for sure: I’m on fire to take you on this journey.
